Effort that we did would be meaningless if it is not accompanied with prayer, as well as the prayers that we said, will not mean anything if we do not endeavor and trusts. Everything is inter-related and have a function in our lives.
The importance of our prayer is that we must believe that God is the one who determines all the results of our effort. And the importance of the effort is the embodiment of our seriousness, our total action, in order to achieve our desires and expectations. Because the effort is a dynamic rather than a static activity. Achievement of expectations required a real action, man Jadda wa Jadda; anyone who seriously then he/she will succeed.
Effort and prayers that we said must have a purpose merely because we want to earn the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Indeed, everything that we want and expect from God is intended to make ourselves becomes closer and love Allah Almighty.
